Product Review (and giveaway) – Science in Sport Energy Gels – Quick fuel for quick splits!

Hello friends and runners (and runner friends)! It's the middle of the summer and we're all doing our best to survive it. I know plenty of us are ramping up in our training to get ready for whatever lies ahead. As we know, we have to work through the summer to kick butt in the fall. 🙂 Energy and hydration are always a part of what we need to worry about as endurance athletes, but never more than in the summertime. I've tried many products over the years for running fuel, but I'm always happy to find out what the options are. Gels are a common method of replenishing lost calories and electrolytes among runners, cyclists and other activities. BibRave introduced me to Science in Sport (SiS) and I've been trying them out over the last few weeks!

We live in magical times when it comes to technology. We aren't quite The Jetsons yet, but we do have it pretty good. There's an app for everything. I'm going to introduce you to an app to help you track your active lifestyles, though many of you know ALL about it (not you, Brenton). I'm talkin' bout Strava, man. Strava is a magical place in which runners of all types (or active people in general, there are other activities too) can benefit. I've been on Strava for quite a while. I just checked and it seems that I joined on January 16,2016. My how time flies!
