I feel like I just posted (because I did), but this time around it’s time for another product review! I’m especially excited about this one for a couple of reasons. First, I really loved version 1.0 of this product and second, Christmas is coming and I want to help you or the runners (or otherwise active/dirty people) in your lives get a gift that they’ll be happy with!

I bought my first Orange Mud Transition Wrap a couple of years ago, when I first found out about them. I’m an especially sweaty and sometimes stinky runner and the thought of having an item that would allow me to change out of my nasty gear wherever I may be AND keep my sweaty butt off of my car seat. Trust me, you run and have a car for long enough and it WILL start to smell like you. Permastank.

My Version 1.0 is orange. I went with black this time. 🙂

The Changing Towel: It’s REALLY nice to be able to get all the way down to your birthday suit wherever you may be and not worry about giving anyone a show. The wrap fastens securely around your waist, allowing you to escape your nastiness and put on something a little less sweaty. The only place I won’t use it is at a school. I take NO chances there.

The Seat Cover: This is nice and easy. The top of the wrap zips up and goes right over the head of my car seat. The cover is large enough to cover my entire seat with no problem.

Version 1.0 and 2.0 aren’t super different, as far as functionality goes. The biggest difference is in the material. Version 1.0 is a little on the rougher side and feels kinda like the towels you might get at a hotel or a gym where towels are available for use. Version 2.0 is a microfiber that’s quite a bit more soft and comfy. 🙂

My old wrap has held up well over time and the updated version appears to be built to go the distance as well. I machine wash them and throw them in the dryer too.

There’s a color for everyone.

If you’re shopping for a practical gift kind of person and that person happens to live an active lifestyle, the Orange Mud Wrap really is a great gift. It’s been riding in my car for quite a long time and other than shoes and a GPS watch, it’s about the only thing that I need to have around when I go out for a run.

As always, I’m happy to answer any other questions that you might have about this product. It’s cool to get free stuff, but I really do these reviews to keep people informed of what’s out there. I honestly enjoy it.
