It’s Cold Enough for Some Hot Chocolate

Good morning, everyone! I’m very excited to say that I’ve signed up for the Hot Chocolate 15k in Charlotte that will take place on February 10, 2018. Here are just SOME of the reasons I’m excited to run this race:

  • I’ve spent very little time in Charlotte, so this will be a new city to experience!
  • It’s my first race as a BibRave Pro and I can’t wait to meet some of the other Pros!
  • There’s chocolate!
  • I’m guaranteed a PR!
  • I might have some friends or family (or both) to road trip with!

The good news is that I should already be ready to go for a 15k distance, since I’ve been grinding out my marathon training for the last few months. I’ll try not to let myself go TOO much before this one.

For some additional incentive, use Code “BibRaveHCChar18” to receive a bonus Hot Chocolate cap when signing up. Links and discounts to races and gear can be found on my blog home page.

I hope to see some of you out there. If you want to find me, I’ll be the guy with chocolate fondue all over his face and hands.

  1. MEH…we have the Hot Chocolate in Dallas too. I would probably run it for free if it was offered to me but it seems fun for beginning runners! I do like the swag, I believe there’s a jacket or something that comes with the entry. So just go run it fast and kick some ass!!!
